World Health Organization
The World Health Organization has various ongoing projects focussed on active aging, including projects on age friendly communities, fall prevention, and prevention of elder abuse.

BC Recreation and Parks Association Active Aging Consultation Report
The BC Recreation and Parks Association conducted a comprehensive province wide consultation to collect input relating to active aging strategies. The results of this study focus on healthy eating, injury prevention, physical activity, tobacco cessation, social connectedness, liveable communities and transportation.

Canadian Association of Retired Persons

This is an association of people above age 50. CARP’s mandate is to effectively promote the rights and quality of life of mature Canadians. Membership benefits include access to resources and information on topics concerning senior living and discount savings on merchandise. In addition, CARP advocates on a number of senior living issues.
